I'm not Davido's baby mama, He picked me up in a club in Ibadan as a waitress -Ayo Labinjoh explains
As public attention remained fixed on the unfolding paternity dispute involving a teenage girl, Anu Mitchelle Adeleke—who claims that music star Davido is her biological father—her mother, Ayo Labinjoh, has now spoken out.
In a post shared via her daughter’s Instagram page, Labinjoh uploaded screenshots of what she described as private chat exchanges, alongside a lengthy explanation detailing how she allegedly met the singer.
She voiced strong anger over what she said were years of harassment and mistreatment her daughter has suffered following Davido’s rejection of the paternity claim. Labinjoh explained that she was employed as a waitress at a club in Ibadan when she encountered the artist, firmly rejecting suggestions that she was a sex worker, as some reports have implied.

She also challenged claims that five DNA tests had already been carried out, insisting that such reports were false. Labinjoh added that since Davido holds U.S. citizenship, she is open to arranging another DNA test, proposing that it be conducted under the supervision of the U.S. State Department to ensure transparency and neutrality.
Her statements have sparked renewed debate, leaving many observers questioning whether her readiness to pursue such measures could indicate the credibility of her claims.
