Publisher Of Waka About Africa’s Mother Dies At 85

…Transition of A Heroine Princess Ezinne, Ukachi Justina Ogidi

The Publisher of Waka About Africa Newspaper, Nwanma Chinyere Ogidi, has lost her mother, Princess Ezinne, Ukachi Justina Ogidi, aged 85.

In a press release jointly signed by Nze, John Ogidi and Prince Emmanuel Odirichukwu on behalf of the Duruiheme Dynasty and the Odirichukwu royal family says that the sad event occurred on July 11, 2024.

“With gratitude to God for a life well spent in the service of God and humanity, the immediate and extended families of both families painfully announce the transition of our matriarch and heroine, Princess Ezinne, Ukachi Justina Ogidi.

It also read, “With deep sorrow and submission to the will of God Almighty, we announce the transition of our beloved mother, Heroine and Princess Ezinne, Ukachi who has gone to be with the Lord,” the family stated.

Princess Ezinne Ukachi was called to the bosom of our Lord Almighty on July 11, 2024. Meanwhile, Family and friends have been receiving condolences from the Duruiheme Dynasty and the Odirichukwu royal family over the passing of their matriarch and Heroine.

The two families, especially the Odirichukwu royal family announced the matriarch’s demise immediately after she passed.

The release expressed the family’s grief over the sad event, particularly given the role of Princess Ezinne, Ukachi Justina Ogidi as a devout Christian and role model who inspired and nurtured young women and younger generations of leaders.

“Though we mourn, we find comfort in the fact that Princess Ezinne Ogidi lived a fulfilling life and left behind a patriot, quintessential democrat, and true leader in her children and we  pray that God grants the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

The family will announce burial arrangements in due course.
