Gen JACK  OGUNEWE hails Nigeria @ 63

......Calls for commitment for a desirable future.

 The Action Alliance Governorship candidate in the state, Major General Lincoln Keonyemere Jack Ogunewe (Rtd),MFR, has felicitated with Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of the celebration of the nation's 63rd independence Day Anniversary. General Ogunewe described the independence Day celebration as an auspicious occasion for Nigerians to reflect deeply on the fundamental principles that affect Nigeria as a nation and the tumultuous journey of nationhood.

"This time offers us a new opportunity to renew our drive towards attaining greater heights and secure our shared dreams and common vision.
Indeed, the journey has been characterized by sterling opportunities, challenges and prospects which have no doubt brought out the resilient Nigerian spirit of perseverance, industry, esteemed commitments, abiding faith and firm confidence that the Country will be great".

As the nation marks another independence anniversary, General Ogunewe heartily enjoins Nigerians to remain steadfast and trusting totally that the candle of hope ignited by our heroes past , will never be extinguished, but will continue to glow and be fanned into a flame enkindled by unity , which continues to espouse hope for a desirable future.

"Nigeria should be the beacon of hope, democracy and freedom, to not only the African continent but to the black diaspora the world over".

He further charged Nigerian citizens to remain focused and commit themselves towards enthroning equity, transparency, patriotism , justice, peace and national cohesion. 

He therefore , enjoined Nigerians to reflect on the progress and success recorded as a nation since independence and at the same time celebrate our humble attainments and ponder over  the numerous dreams that are yet to be fulfilled as a nation.

General Ogunewe wishes Imolites and Nigerians at large happy independence anniversary celebration.
