Many Don’t Know WOLI AGBA & Alfa SULE Are Brothers


Over the years, the Nigerian entertainment industry has seen siblings from the same family how fans with their talents. Some also had the priviledge of having their parents pave the way for them. Such is the story of brothers, Femi Ajewole and Ayo Ajewole, Ibadan-based blood brothers who have excelled over the years as entertainers.

Evangelist Femi Ajewole who is popularly known as Alfa Sule and Otiganpa is the founder of the Christ Chosen Vessels Dance Drama Ministry, an evangelical dance drama ministry based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Evangelist Femi Ajewole is the elder brother of the popular comedian, Ayo Ajewole who is also known as “Woli Agba”. He started the ministry in 2002 with only 10 students and today, the group has grown big and now boasts of more than 40 cast members.

Femi Ajewole and the Christ Chosen Vessels Dance Drama Ministries came to limelight after the official release of Take Heed, Otiganpa and the popular Alfa Sule stage drama performance which featured his brother Ayo Ajewole as Woli Agba. His ministry has impacted many lives through many of his works.

Among the movies produced are, Ijo Wa (Our Church), Agbelebu (The Cross), Parable, Hidden, Epe (Negative Ulterance/Curse), Pride 1×2, Take  Heed, Oruko Nla (The Greatest Name) and Amos 3:3.

His ministry has also impacted so many young generation and he has produced so many talents particularly his younger brother, Ayo Ajewole who has risen to become of the top comedians in Nigeria today. He is known by his stage name “Woli Agba”.


Ayo Ajewole spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Ibadan as that was where their parents reside right from time. He is an indigenous comedian, actor and musician. He is well known for his gospel-themed comedies, which he performs in Yoruba. He started with his brother, Femi Ajewole as a gospel dancing trio, before he started his online comedy, where he called himself the founder of Instagram Parish Ministry, an online church (IPM), Ayo Ajewole attended Baptist Secondary School, Oke-Ado, Ibadan. He furthered his tertairy institution and graduated from Lead City University, Ibadan, where he studied Economics.

Woli Agba has to his name an album titled “Oluwa Mi Yo Dide” a Yoruba title which translates to “My Lord Will Rise” in English. He released the album on 4th September, 2018 under his solo record label, Woli Agba. His other songs are Gbogbo Ogo, Ololufe Mi, Eni Ola. He has also produced many gospel films to his credit.

The two brothers journey into entertainment started when Femi shared a vision of dance drama with his brother Ayo. They both planned together and formed a Joint Christian Comedy and Dance Group where Ayo played the role of Woli Agba and Femi will do voice over.

Ayo took part in Otiganpa, Oruko Nla, Alfa Sule and many more. He also acted and took part in the group’s movies where he is being referred to as: Jay Jay, Chukundi Omo Ibadan, Pastor Johnson, Baba Ijo as so on. Ayo became famous with his elder brother, Femi Ajewole after their Joint Christian Comedy and Dance Drama, Alfa Sule.
