Maj Gen Lincoln Keonyemere Jack Ogunewe hail from Umudim-Akpodim in EzinihitteMbaise LGA, born on 18th May 1963 to the family of Eze (Col) David Sunday Ogunewe, a first Generation Nigerian Army officer (N/34).
Ogunewe Lincoln joined the Army at the age of 17 and rose to the rank of Major General and the Second in command (NO2) in the Nigeria Army (Chief of Policy & Plans (Army).
He retired at 55 in Dec 2018, after more than 38 years of service including his cadet training at the Nigerian Defence Academy.
