Drama ensues as man working as Uber driver picks up his wife with her side boyfriend

Drama ensues as man working as Uber driver picks up his wife with her side boyfriend

An interesting case of infidelity on the part of a woman was unravelled by her husband who went undercover working as an Uber driver.

The man who wore a face mask and hoodie picked up his wife and her lover without her realising that the driver is her husband.

During the trip he chatted them up and asked questions about how they met and who made advances at the other person.

He was driving the to the woman’s huouse, which is also his house and when he arrived, he made a comment for her to realise that he knew some personal details about her.

It was as she was pondering on what he said, the man lookded back at them and informed the side boyfriend that she was his wife. He revealed that they have been married for five years and have kids.

The angry husband charged at the man and dragged him down from his vehicle before getting back into the car to confront his wife.

Similarly, the moment a married woman confronted her husband’s alleged mistress in a taxi was filmed and shared online.

The wife and side chic entered the same taxi in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, without initially realising that they are somewhat connected.

It was during the journey, that the elderly woman realised she was in the same vehicle with the woman her hubby has been cheating on her with. She revealed that she had once met the young lady in their home not knowing that she was having an affair with her man.

According to the wife, she came to their house and introduced herself as her husband’s friend only for her to later discover that the lady has been going out with him.

She also noted how her husband would go missing on some days, and she would call his phone without response. She, however said that she will not fight the lady, rather, God will judge her for trying to destroy her marriage.

All the while the elderly woman was talking, the suspected side chic stayed silent and did not utter a single word. Passengers in the vehicle were forced to ask if it was a case of mistaken identity but the woman insisted that she was talking to the right person.

2023: I See Revolution in Nigeria, Not Election, Says Cleric

2023: I See Revolution in Nigeria, Not Election, Says Cleric

Sylvester Idowu in Warri

Ahead of the 2023 general election, a cleric of The Last Day Church of God has called on Nigerians to pray against revolution in the country.

He particularly called on Christians and ministers of God to go into fervent prayers, noting that he sees a revolution and not election in 2023.

The cleric, known as Prophet Coming of the Lord, gave the revelation yesterday while speaking to journalists at his residence in Otokutu near Warri, Delta State, saying the lord revealed so many things in an encounter on his recent sojourn to a prayer mountain, stressing that the 2023 election will be tough.

He emphasised on the need for genuine Christians to embark on serious prayers to avert a revolution that will be worse than the #EndSARS protest, adding that many people will die as a result of “that mother of revolution that will come before, during or immediately after the 2023 elections.

“Nigerians, I am not seeing any election taking place, I am seeing a revolution not election. This revolution, the Lord said it would start like crisis and snowballed into war. They will burn police stations, and it will look like the continuation of #EndSARS protest.  And this will be more than that protest. Vehicle will not move for more than one month.”

The cleric stated that the revolution would be ignited by Nigerian youths in response to the economic situation in the country, adding that they will begin the revolution to foist on Nigerians their preference.

The clergyman was quick to warn the youths not to push the country into crisis that may end up claiming the lives of many promising youths, adding that if they want a change, it was only proper for them to pursue it in a manner that will not endanger the lives of other Nigerian citizens.

“They will kill policemen, soldiers and other security agents. Many youth corpers will die. We should prepare as Nigerians must pray against this not to happen and pray for peace. And the Lord said I should warn Nigerian youths to sit down as He is the one that will give power to whom He desires to give. That no one can give power except him,” he said.

Lagos Female Pastor Threw The Coconut That Killed Akeem Agboola, Friends Narrate How Oro Worshipper Was Stoned To Death

Lagos Female Pastor Threw The Coconut That Killed Akeem Agboola, Friends Narrate How Oro Worshipper Was Stoned To Death
Pastor Mercy Okocha, presiding Pastor of Truth and The Spirit Prophetic Church of 2, Sanni Taiwo Street, Puposola area of Oko Oba, has been fingered has being the person that threw the coconut which inflicted fatal injuries on an Oro worshipper, Akeem Agboola, which eventually led to his death, reports thegazellenews.com.

Our correspondents visited the scene of the mayhem where Oro worshippers and church members of the aforementioned church engaged each other in battle which eventually led to the death of Akeem Agboola, one of the Oro worshippers.

According to investigation by our correspondents, the worshippers have informed residents of the area of the coming Oro festival which is expected to coincide with the Isese Day, a day set aside for traditional worshipping and the need for women and non-indigenes to stay at home.

“On the day of the event, the Oro worshippers sent out one of their members to inform the people of the area on the need to stay at home at a particular period between 12 midnight and 4am.

“The town crier thus went round the streets and inform residents of the coming event,” one of the worshippers told thegazellenews.com

Adeolu Adeshina, a youth in the area, told our correspondents that when the church members who were having a programme on that day, were informed, they said that the Oro worshippers are not greater than the God they are serving.

“That set the stage for the confrontation between the two groups particularly on the side of the church members who appeared ready for the impending battle arming themselves with weapons, particularly bottles to defend themselves and the church,” Adeshina narrated.

When the Oro worshippers eventually started their procession and got to the vicinity of the church and they found out that the church members have not heeded their warning, an emissary was allegedly sent to the church leaders to at least stop their programme and allow the procession to pass.

The refusal of the church members led to a shouting match between the two groups which eventually snowballed into chaos.

“The two groups resorted to hauling missiles at each other. Bottles and stones were flying from one end to the other and it seems the church members were better prepared with broken bottles coming regularly and fast from their end,” Orowunmi Olaide, a member of the Oro group told our correspondents.

According to him, it was in the process that Prophet Mercy Okocha picked one of the coconuts brought for special prayers by church members and threw it at the crowd of the Oro worshippers but unfortunately for her, it landed right on the head of Akeem Agboola who slumped and fell to the ground.

“We tried to revive him because he was still breathing but could not speak. We took him to several hospitals including the General Hospital at Oke Odo but he was rejected. Eventually, he died,” Adeola narrated.

It was the death of Agboola that enraged the Youths and they stormed the church with a view of setting it ablaze.

It took the intervention of police from Oko Oba police station to quell the uprising.

As at the time of writing this report, Pastor Mercy, 50, and nine members of her church have been arrested by the police and are still undergoing interrogation.

Police confirm two dead in Lagos State church stampede – The Eagle Online

Two people were killed in a stampede at a prayer service held at a church on Ewenla Street, off Ikotun-Idimu Road in Lagos.

According to a member who attended the prayer service hosted by Pastor Odekunle Epaphras Prayer Ministries, also known as Olorun Ojiji, which takes place on the third Thursday of each month, the service typically draws a large crowd of worshippers.

She goes on to say that the trouble began when the crowd waiting for the second service scrambled to enter the venue immediately after the first service ended, without allowing the first set of worshippers to leave, resulting in a stampede.

Confirming the incident, Lagos state command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin stated that five unconscious people were rushed to the hospital near the scene of the stampede, three of whom were resuscitated and two of whom were declared dead.

Other members claim that when the church first began hosting the service at the expansive facility, it only held one service. However, as attendance grew rapidly, the number of services was increased to three.

The host, Pastor Odekunle Epaphras, was immediately arrested and taken to the Ikotun Police Station before being released on bail.

Six arrested as troops clear camp of notorious bandit, Lawal Kwalba in Kaduna forest

Six more bandits have been arrested as Nigerian troops make further inroads in the ongoing campaign against terrorists and armed bandits across the state.

The troops of Operation Forest Sanity cleared the camp of a notorious bandit, Lawal Kwalba, in Rafin Dawa in the Dende general area of Chikun local government, Kaduna State.

The State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Thursday, August 18, said the troops conducted a patrol to the location following actionable intelligence.

“The troops after clearing the camp recovered some batteries and 27 bags of fertilizer. These materials indicate likely plans to manufacture Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), considering the bandits’ close alliance with terrorists,” the statement read.

“Furthermore, one motorcycle and two mobile phones were recovered as the bandits took to their heels before the troops’ arrival

“The troops extended the search a short distance from the camp, and made some arrests. Investigations are ongoing on the intercepted suspects

“The Kaduna State Government received the report with satisfaction, and praised the sustained efforts by officers and men carrying out the operations.”

Military Cannons Destroy Camp of ISWAP Leader Fiya Ba Yuram, Kill Scores in Sambisa

Scores of ISWAP terrorists have been killed by Nigerian Air Force, NAF, military jets at the enclave of Fiya Ba Yuram, in Sambisa forest, over the weekend.

PRNigeria gathered that Fiya Ba Yuram, a notorious terrorist, is the current Leader of ISWAP at Sambisa forest. He took over the leadership of the ISWAP insurgent group, following the killing of Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau, last year.

The raid at Fiya Ba Yuram’s enclave followed a credible and actionable intelligence by the Air Component of Operation of Hadin Kai, which revealed that terrorists were gathering for an undisclosed mission.

An intelligence military source, told PRNigeria that air strikes were then authorized and carried out on the location, following the intelligence.

He said: “An assessment of the location after the strikes revealed it to be successful, though it remained unconfirmed if Fiya Ba Yuram was among the terrorists neutralized in the strikes”.

Meanwhile, similar air strikes were also undertaken in the Tunbuns near Lake Chad after suspected terrorists’ activities were observed in the area believed to be a training camp for ISWAP fighters, PRNigeria also gathered from another military intelligence officer.

“The targets were subsequently acquired and engulfed in flames all after. The aftermath of the airstrike revealed that pandemonium broke out as the remnant of surviving terrorists took cover under nearby trees which were later struck by the aircraft,” the officer disclosed.

When contacted, the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet confirmed the strikes stating that, “Yes strikes were carried out on some specific targets in the Tunbuns and Sambisa with varying degrees of successes recorded. The NAF won’t however be drawn into the details of those neutralized.”

How Dagrin Re surface in sierra Leone, twelve years after his death,(live after death in another country)

12 Years After His Death, Nigerian Rapper, Dagrin Declared Wanted By Sierra Leone Police

Sierra Leone Police released photos of those who allegedly took part in a violent protest last week and the late Dagrin photo is on the list.

Late Nigerian rapper, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun aka Dagrin has been declared wanted by police in Sierra Leone.

This comes 12 years after his death.

Recall that Dagrin died from complications arising from injuries he sustained in a ghastly motor accident.

His car collided with a stationary trailer in front of Alakara Police Station, around 3am at Mushin in Lagos.

The rapper died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, on Wednesday, 22nd April 2010 at the age of 26 and was buried on Friday, 30th April at the Ebony Millennium Private Vault, Atan Cemetery.

However, a surprising scenario seems to be playing out in Sierra Leone following photos of those who allegedly participated in a violent protest, which the police in the country released.

According to LIB, Sierra Leone Police released photos of those who allegedly took part in a violent protest last week and the late Dagrin photo is on the list.

Similarly, a Twitter user @Jeen_Yous who resides in Sierra Leone also shared the poster on the micro-blogging platform.

The tweet reads: ”The Sierra Leone Police release Pictures of wanted people who were part of the violent protest last week and late Nigerian rapper Dagrin is one of them. This country will always amaze me”

Women's U-20 World Cup Quarter Finals And Semi Finals Fixtures After Nigeria Sailed Easily

Women's U-20 World Cup Quarter Finals And Semi Finals Fixtures After Nigeria Sailed Easily
The quarter finals stage of the Women's U-20 World Cup has been set and only the Strong qualified to trade tackles for the ultimate price. However, the Tournament could be more interesting with the pairing of Teams to be watched for the vital Quarter Final stage before dreaming of playing at the Final Game.

Colombia Women finished at the top of Group B after beating Germany 0-1 and playing 0-0 Draw with Mexico and 2-2 with New Zealand Women to finish with 5 points as group leader who will be trading tackles with Brazil Women that finished behind Spain with 7 points in Group A. Although Colombia Women were rugged and fast but facing a Brazil Team that humiliated Host Costa Rica by 5-0 even in front of home fans will be a huge task. Brazil scored 7 goals in the Group stage and conceded none while Colombia scored 3 and conceded 2.

Spain Women top Group A with 7 points as Brazil but scored 8 goals, 1 more than Brazil. The Spaniard beat Host by 5-0, and Australia Women by 3-0, playing a draw against Brazil is an indicator that they meant business and Mexico that could only beat Germany by 1-0 and drew their other 2 Group B games should be ready for. Mexico scored only 2 goals and conceded 1 in the group rounds while Spain still enjoy clean sheet.

France Women never got to the party earlier as expected but in the end they also qualified for the quarter finals. After losing 1-0 to Nigeria, the French Women beat Korea by 1-0 and Canada Women by 3-1 to finish 2nd on Group C Table behind Nigeria with 6 points. They will face Defending champions Japan Women that garnered all 9 points in Group D, scoring 6 and conceding only one and for the fact that they are the defending Champions, France will find them difficult to defeat. The Japan Women side are the most tactical in this Tournament and this quality can punish a defensively weak side like France.

Nigeria Women surprised many by getting all 9 points and leading their group C log. The only Black Nation in the tournament after the elimination of Ghana Women will prepare again to tackle another European side Netherlands Women who eventually qualified to this round after beating 3 time Winner USA by 3-0 and another African Team Ghana by 4-1. Facing a Netherlands Women that only lost by a goal margin to Japan the defending champions should be a wake up call for Nigeria because they have tasted an African Team and score 4 goals against them. The beauty is that after beating France Women, Nigeria being the only representative of Africa must build on that confidence to grab the semi finals ticket.

Nigeria will be up against Spain/Mexico if they beat Netherlands Women while it will be France/Japan against Colombia/Brazil Women in the Semi Final Rounds. It means if Nigeria Women were lucky enough to get the Final ticket, then Brazil or Japan Women will be envisaged for a crucial title decider.

The Nigerian under-20 girls are through to the next round of the competition but could seal Group C’s top spot with a positive result against the Canadians

Nigeria women’s under-20 national team will look to make it a perfect three wins in three games when they trade tackles with Canada on Thursday in their final group game at the ongoing 2022 FIFA u-20 Women World Cup.

The Falconets have been the dominant force in Group C, beating European champions France and Asian queens South Korea with a similar 1-0 scoreline.

Those two impressive wins have guaranteed the Nigerian ladies a spot in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. The coach Christopher Danjuma-tutored side will, however, finish top of the group should they avoid a defeat to Canada.

That should not be a difficult task against the disappointing Reds.

Losing finalists as hosts in 2002, Canada have been far from excellent in Costa Rica, with the North Americans the whipping team in Group C.

South Korea handed them a 2-0 thrashing before France forced a 3-1 defeat down their throat.

With the two losses, Canada are out of the competition and only have pride to play for against Nigeria.

It could be a tricky tie for Nigeria, though, if complacency creeps in.

Head to head
Nigeria have met Canada twice at the FIFA u-20 Women World Cup, with the Falconets triumphing on both occasions.

Both teams locked horns for the first time in the group stage of Russia 2006, with the Falcons edging a thrilling encounter 3-2. Nigeria got to the quarterfinal but could not advance to the semifinal.

It took another ten years before another Canada vs. Nigeria fixture came up again at the World Cup. Once again, Nigeria won 3-1, but both teams failed to make it out of the group phase at Papua New Guinea 2016.

Match details
Tournament: FIFA U-20 World Cup
Host: Costa Rica
Game: Nigeria vs. Canada
Venue: Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto, Alajuela
Date: Thursday, August 18
Kick-off time: 3 a.m. Nigerian time

Prediction
The Falconets and defending champions Japan are the only two teams who have a perfect win record in Costa Rica. And coach Chris Danjuma will be keen to keep the girls’ winning mentality.

Nigeria have managed just two goals at this tournament, conceding none. Canada, on the other hand, have shipped five, scoring just once.

Expect the Falconets to retain their solidity at the back. And I’m tipping the Reds to find it tough keeping Nigeria’s star forward Flourish Sabastine quiet.

Nigeria's glory will soon return, according to Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center. The power of Naira will rise again and Nigeria will shake the world.

The cleric believe that Nigeria will shake the world, when the power of Naira returns, and the economy will boost once again.

On Wednesday, the man of God claimed, "The country will soon shake the world, as things will change for the better." He made this statement while leading his followers in a prayer for the country.

He emphasized that the Naira, the currency of Nigeria, will soon restore its strength against the US dollar, as well as the worth of the nation's international passport.

He declared, "Nigeria will thrive once more, and tourism will continue to thrive in this country. The planet will produce minerals that we have never seen before.

"There will come a time when wicked men will find it difficult to survive here, let alone anchoring power."

"Our currency will be strong once more, and our passport will be valuable."

Video: I Was Among Those Who Plotted Against You, But My Party Betrayed Me- Wike Tells Gbajabiamila

A video is currently making the rounds on social media showing the moment Rivers State Governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) strongman, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike confessed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honorable Femi Gbajabiamila how a plot was hatched to stop his emergence as Speaker at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.

For those who are not aware, Gbajabiamila was in Port Harcourt on Friday, August 12, 2022, in honor of Wike's invitation to help commission the official quarters of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

However, during his opening speech, the governor revealed that he once took part in a secret plot to ensure that Gbajabiamila did not emerge as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Going further, Wike further revealed that even the move did not materialize because he was betrayed by some members of the PDP.

"I was one of those who plotted that you should not be Speaker. I have no regrets because my business was not to help your party at that time, even now. My business is to make you people (APC) uncomfortable.

It was in the Rivers Government lodge in Abuja that we plotted that you should not go but PDP people and governors sold me out and supported you. Even when we agreed that Femi (Gbajabiamila) and Lawan (Ahmed) should not go. As a party, they went back and supported you," Wike said.

Wike Rejects APC Over Muslim-Muslim Ticket, Vows To Support Any Better Candidate Apart From Atiku

Wike Rejects APC Over Muslim-Muslim Ticket, Vows To Support Any Better Candidate Apart From Atiku

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has made it clear that he will not join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or work for its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 general elections, Daily Independent exclusively gathered.

A key associate of the governor, who spoke with Daily Independent on Thursday, said while Wike has insisted that he will not support Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he has also made it clear that he will have nothing to do with the APC over their choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Wike and his loyalists are currently up in arms against Atiku who announced Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate in June.

“The governor has made it clear that he is a foundation member of the PDP and he will not leave it for any other party. The possibility of his joining the ruling party (APC) is completely ruled out.

He has made it clear to us that aside the fact that the APC is a failed party, he finds the Muslim-Muslim ticket being paraded in the 2023 presidential election repulsive and will not be a part of it”.

On why Wike has been inviting APC leaders to his project commissioning in Rivers while snubbing PDP leaders, he said the governor is unhappy with some leaders in the PDP who have failed to tell Atiku the truth. “The governor is not somebody who hides his feelings.

If Wike wants to fight you, he doesn’t hide behind somebody to do so. Clearly, he is unhappy with some leaders of the PDP for not speaking the truth to Atiku, especially by condemning the interview he granted recently which further worsened an already bad situation in the party.

“But I think he has the right to invite whoever he desires to the state to commission projects.
He has friends both in PDP, APC and other political parties, so I don’t think any meaning should be read into that”.

NEWSInsecurity: There are plans to Islamize Nigeria –

A Kaduna-based sociopolitical critic and former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain in Kagarko Local Government Area of the state, Musa Danyiska, on Tuesday, said the increasing waves of criminality and banditries across the country, including the choice of a particular party to run Muslim-muslim presidential ticket were part of Islamization agenda.

Musa, a former lecturer with Federal School of Statistics in Kaduna, said even the attacks in some states were aimed at reducing the population of a certain religion to their own advantage, adding “in some states, we have heard of a governor supporting a certain religion more than the other.”

Speaking to DAILYPOST in Kaduna after the distribution of relief materials to victims of bandits’ attack in Mararaban Kajuru, Musa further noted that when it comes to federal government appointment in ministries, MDA or heads of security agencies like; Army, Police, NSCDC, Immigration, FRSC, Customs, Navy, Air Force, a particular religion dominates as heads.

“No Christian is appointed to head any security. Christians are left behind as second hand citizens. This shows there are secret plans against Christians,” Musa explained.

Musa, who wondered why Christians are left behind in the appointment into various sensitive positions in the country, said there are more qualified persons among Christian folks, yet because of Islamic agenda, they want to dominate every sphere of life.

“Can you tell me that among all Christians in the country, no one is qualified to deputise the president? They want everything to go in Muslim way.”

Armed kidnappers close in on Lagos, kidnap 20 at Kara -RCCG pastor

KARA –  Herdsmen at Kara, a border area between Lagos and Ogun State has turned into a kidnap den, as about 20 members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God were kidnapped in the early hours of today.

A pastor in RCCG, Mr. Ghenga Obaleye made the revelation on his Facebook page earlier today. Most of the  content of the post has been deleted already probably due to pressure from higher authority.

The pastor said the gunmen emerged from their hideouts in Kara  at about 5:30 am and started shouting sporadically before abducting their victims. Some we gathered abandoned their vehicles, phones and laptops and ran the surrounding bushes for dear life.

Recall that Kara has become a beehive of activities with new settlements springing up in the area with makeshift slaughter slabs and livestock barns, even as commercial motorcycle operators now see Kara as a new haven following the restriction in Lagos.

According to Gbenga Obaleye about 20 persons were kidnapped early this morning by bandits around Kara area between Lagos and Ogun State.

“This is not spoiling any tribe, my members in my church were coming from camp this morning at 5:30am, the fulanis came out from the KARA where they use to sell cows, 20 people have been taken into the bush, that little bush, my members left the car and ran back, shooting, they came back all money, laptop ATM have been taken, the phone they stole we used now to locate where they are as at 7am, pls police in Ogun axis pls help us not to disturb people in that area, truly they are all over I can’t believe this.”

In another post, Obaleye said he was sure that the bandits were targeting members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) returning from the Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

“Kara is dangerous now when you are coming from Camp, the fulanis almost kidnapped members of my church 30mins ago, am sure they are targeting people coming from camp,” Obaleye said.

He is urging members of the RCCG not to be in a hurry to leave the camp after prayers but to wait until 7 am or thereabout.
