Villagers Fought Terrorists For 7 Days Without Any Help; The Terrorists Emptied The Village - Bulama
Residents of Damari village in Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State fought with terrorists for seven straight days without any help from the security agencies.
Bulama Bukarti, a journalist and global security analyst, disclosed this on his verified Twitter handle on Monday, August 8, 2022.
According to Bulama, a member of the House of Representatives from the local government area where the village is located confirmed the incident to BBC Hausa.
The lawmaker said the villagers were left alone in the hands of the terrorists for seven straight days without any intervention from the security forces.
He added that there are military bases close to the village where the incident happened but no one to help the residents.
The terrorists later defeated the villagers and abducted 200 people. The lawmaker said the terrorists emptied the village during the attack.
Bulama Bukarti lamented that this incident is unfathomable for those who follow the security situation in the northern part of the country.
