NIG 1-0 FRA: Nigeria kickoff under 20 Women's World Cup with an injury time victory over France
The Super Falconets of Nigeria pipped the Le Bleu of France 1-0 to get their 10th Under 20 Women's World Cup outing off to a flying in the group C on Friday morning in Costa Rica.
Nigeria under 20 Women's National team and Ghana under 20 Women's National team are the two representatives of Africa in the ongoing Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, and Nigeria have secured a remarkable victory in their first game.

France under 20 Women's National team tried so hard to score in the first half of the game, but all their efforts were denied by impressive Nigerian goalkeeper Monle Oyono, as the first half ended goalless.
17 years old Flourish Sabastine scored the winning goal for Nigeria in the 85th minute after receiving a fine assist from Mercy Idoko to end the match 1-0.
The Super Falconets players were fantastic in the game, and they were able to secure a well deserved victory over their opponent.
The victory over France means Nigeria have started the 2022 FIFA under 20 Women's World Cup with a victory, and they will be looking forward to continuing their impressive performance when they play South Korea in their next game.
