It is no longer news that the troops of the Nigerian military have neutralised several terrorists in Chikun Local Government area of Kaduna State. The success was recorded in the course of clearance operations by the Nigerian military. The operation was made up of ground troops and Nigerian Airforce.

According to Daily Trust Newspaper, some riffles and ammunitions were recovered as well as motorcycles. 

A community leader in one of the affected communities told Daily Trust Newspaper in a podcast interview that he saw about 40 terrorists on their motorcycles as they advance to launch another attack. According to him, it was after the ground troops relocated Mareno community. 

"After the Nigerian soldiers relocated to Mareno to curb the menace, we saw the bandits came out in large number with upto 40 Motorcycles to lay Mayhem." the community leader who pleaded to remain anonymous told Daily Trust Newspaper during the interview.
