Bandits Offered To Give Us N10M To Release Their Members In Our Custody-NSCDC

The Operatives of the Nigerian Security Civil Defence Corps in Sokoto State arrested and paraded two suspected trans-border terrorists who were arrested during a covert operation in Salami local government area of Sokoto State.

According to the Statement released by the commander of the Corp, Mohammed Sale-Dada, one of the terrorists were arrested by the command, but escaped in custody using diabolical means. The commander said that the terrorists may be linked with the dreaded Ansaru terrorist group, due to his overwhelming influence in the forest, where he has more the 200 terrorists working for him.

The commander said the arrested suspects would be charged to court after investigations are concluded.

Speaking with the press, Mohammed Sale-Dada said, “some of his friends in crime gets in touch with us, that they are willing to give us 10 million to release him. We agreed that they should come so that we can add them to the numerical figures of the arrest we've made. Unfortunately, maybe they read the signs”.
