Ayo Fayose is A Huge Disappointment, I Know How PDP Helped Him" -PDP Chieftain, Fabiyi
The director, support group and events technical committee, Atiku for President 2023, Fabiyi Oladimeji, has addressed Ayo Fayose's recent statements regarding the PDP and Atiku's candidacy. Speaking on Channels TV, the PDP chieftain recalled how the PDP assisted Ayo Fayose in 2003, when he (Fabiyi) was the head of the PDP's accounts department.
Addressing the topic, Fabiyi said, "I often avoid commenting on the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose. I would say Ayo Fayose has been a huge disappointment. A leader should be more responsible and should be able to lead his people to places they do not want to go. As far as I know, the PDP has done a lot for Ayo Fayose. I was present in 2003 as the head of the accounts department in PDP. I knew how he came into the party, and I knew what the party had done for him.
He continued, "Fayose should not be the one fanning the embers of discord in this party regardless of his feelings about everything. He is knowledgeable enough about the political activities in this country to know what to say at this time. He should rather say he is no longer in the PDP than fan the embers of disunity. If you are no longer comfortable with where you are, you should be able to say so. He has been tilting towards affirming the rumors about him. We have never stopped him from expressing himself, but as the party's leader, he should be more responsible.
