Jubreel Abdulkareem sympathizes with the family, friends and Lagos State over the death of Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, a bigwig politician in Lagos State. Hon. Jubreel statements, release through his media team describe the death of Mrs Kemi Nelson as rude and devastating. She died on Sunday at 66. Until her death, she was a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos, a former Commissioner for Women's Affair and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos State, she was also a former Lagos State Women leader and Southwest zonal women leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Kemi Nelson was a former executive director of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund and was also appointed to NSITF by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019, a position she held until May 2022. Hon.
